Tiger Woods was injured in a single-car crash on Tuesday (Feb. 23) in what was described as pulling the athlete from a wreck using the ‘jaws of life.’
Woods was traveling in Los Angeles when the accident occurred. According to his agent, the legendary golfer suffered multiple leg injuries and is receiving surgical treatment.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single-vehicle roll-over collision at 7:12 a.m. PT and removed Woods from the car — which “sustained major damage” — using the “jaws of life.”
Pictures captured over the scene of the crash show major damage to the vehicle.

Just a day before the accident, Woods was doing what he loves most, playing golf. In a video with retired basketball player Dwyane Wade, the two are seen on a golf course playing around.
Dwayne, a sports legend in his own right, seemed ecstatic to play golf with the “G.O.A.T.”
