As a few days have gone by, some cast members have made social posts expressing hurt and honoring their lost college, friend, and brother.
Danai Gurira, who played the Wakanda warrior Okoye in the 2018 film, wrote a very heartfelt message on Instagram than started with “How do you honor a King?”

It is no secret how close these cast members are, and we can’t imagine the pain they must feel in light of this tremendous loss. Chadwick Boseman passed away Friday (August 28) night after a four-year battle with colon cancer. He was 43-years-old.
Condolences to all who knew and loved Chadwick Boseman.
