Yesterday we reported that celebrities have started to use social media platforms to entertain, inform, and comfort fans who are stuck at home amidst the coronavirus pandemic. Among them was Debbi Allen who hosted a free dance lesson, aimed at getting those sitting at home moving.
The 70-year old’s online lesson began trending on social after only minutes and garnered upwards of 40 thousand participants.

The “Grey’s Anatomy” star, who runs the Debbie Allen Dance Company, is on the growing list of celebrities utilizing their platforms, talents, and coins to help affected fans. John Legend performed an intimate concert via Instagram, and Erykah Badu is planning a benefit concert as well.
In addition to entertainment and charity, some celebrities are working to spread knowledge and information. Idris Elba released a PSA video after he tested positive for COVID-19.
