We’re finally getting a first look at Netflix’s upcoming series, Self Made: Inspired by The Life of Madam C.J. Walker, starring Octavia Spencer, Blair Underwood, Tiffany Haddish, Bill Bellamy and Garrett Morris.
The LeBron James-produced four-part series hits the streaming site in March and will tell the story of Walker, the woman who went from washing clothes to becoming the first African-American female, self-made millionaire, by inventing products especially for Black hair, including the perm and perfecting the hot comb method.
