Robyn Crawford has opened up about her relationship with Whitney Houston alleging that she and the late icon were romantically involved. Sitting down with TODAY, she gave details on the first time she claims they kissed and “touched.”
It’s no secret that this best friend duo was inseparable, however, despite rumors, this is the first time that a romantic or intimate relationship has been openly discussed by either party. Crawford claims that the physical relationship ended once the “How Will I Know” singer signed with Clive Davis.

In an interview with Oprah, Cissy Houston, the late singer’s mother, briefly addressed the rumors, stating that she wasn’t sure if her daughter was in a gay relationship, but would not have approved if it were true.
We reported earlier this year that Nippy’s bestie had penned a memoir titled “A Song For You: My Life with Whitney Houston.” The tell-all book is now available, providing a new perspective into the life of the beloved superstar, which tragically ended in 2012. Crawford will be featured on NBC’s Dateline on Saturday.
