Sadly after 5 years of marriage, Solange took to Instagram to announce that she and Alan Ferguson have separated.

Friday’s post stated:
“11 years ago [I] met a phenomenal man who changed every existence of my life. early this year we separated and parted ways, (and tho it ain’t nan [nobody business ?] [I] find it necessary to protect the sacredness of my personal truth and to live in it fully.”
The two were married in 2014 and do not share any children together, however, the “Cranes In The Sky” singer has a son, Daniel Julez J. Smith Jr., from a previous relationship.

There are no reports on why the couple has decided to call it quits. Much like her sister and brother-in-law, Beyoncé and Jay-Z, the 33-year-old has been very private when it comes to her personal life.
