Garcelle Beauvais is adding reality star to her already impressive resume. The actress most known for her roles in Coming To America (which she just confirmed her appearance in the sequel) and The Jamie Foxx Show, will become the first African American woman to join the cast of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

The gorgeous 52-year-old broke the news on Instagram. “As the first African American Housewife in the Beverly Hills franchise, I am honored and humbled by this awesome opportunity to exemplify the fact that Black Girl Magic lives and thrives in every zip code!”

So what can we expect to see? Minimal drama we hope, but we’re sure a look into her as a mother (she has two younger sons, Jaid and Jax). And maybe even her man, activist Ted Bunch? The pair went public last year and have been boo’d up ever since.

Until she makes her Housewives debut in 2020, watch her appearance on The DL Hughley Show earlier this year.
