The very vocal Tyrese Gibson had a mouthful for The Rock and his movie ‘Fast & Furious: Hobbs and Shaw.’ The singer turned actor took to Instagram in a now-deleted post to share his thoughts on the new film and star.

‘Hobbs and Shaw,’ the “Fast and Furious” spinoff that stars Dawayne Johnson but does not include Gibson, was released over the weekend bringing in $180 million, a number that apparently did not impress the “Sweet Lady” singer.

“180 million dollar global opening on Hobbs and Shaw is NOT a win…”

It seems the 40-year-old’s frustration is rooted in his ill feelings toward Johnson and “crew’s” decision to push back ‘Fast and Furious 9’ in order to complete this separate project.

“Breaking up the family clearly doesn’t have the value that one would assume it does. You know what maybe just maybe… The Rock and the crew will come dance with us again for #Fast10 we can all hug it out and get back to giving the true fans who have supported this franchise for 20 years WHAT they want……..No hating I’m just pointing out the facts,”

‘The Baby Boy’ star stresses that he’s not hating and even points out that his film mate’s Hollywood career is much more prosperous that his.

“The Rock is still one of the biggest movie stars in the world and he’s not hurting for work…. I have 2 franchise films and he has at least 15 so there won’t be any tears on his pillow tonight”

‘Fast & The Furious 9’ which feature Gibson, The Rock, along with Vin Diesel and Ludacris is set to release May 2020.
