In true boss fashion, Keenen Ivory Wayans is making his return to television in a major way! The 61-year-old has just been named as Showrunner for season three of The Last O.G., the TBS series, starring Tracy Morgan, Tiffany Haddish and Allen Maldonado.

Mostly known for being one of the first to create the cultural staple and innovative sketch comedy series, In Living Color, he’s also directed White Chicks, Scary Movie and Scary Movie 2 (alongside his famous brothers) and co-wrote Hollywood Shuffle. The oldest Wayans reunited with his television family earlier this year to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the historic show. Watch here.

In a statement, “We can’t wait to see where Keenen takes this series next,” said Brett Weitz, general manager of TBS, TNT and truTV. “It’s honestly a dream scenario to work with one of the true trailblazers of social humor; he’s the perfect fit for The Last O.G.”
