Ok, now, it’s just getting weird.

It was just reported that Terrence Howard and his ex-wife but now fiancé, Mira Pak are being investigated for federal tax evasion. This news comes as details from their divorce suit are surfacing.

Howard is at the root of the IRS investigation, being accused of funneling his earnings from ‘Empire’ into Pak’s company, Universal Bridges, Inc. as a way to avoid paying a divorce judgment to a previous ex-wife and, according to court documents, “several million” to the IRS.

The 50-year-old is the third actor from the FOX hit series to make headlines related to legal troubles.

Jussie Smollett was the first to face, or cause, trouble when he reported that he was the victim of a violent hate crime. This later lead to the actor himself being charged after Chicago Police and investigators claimed he made everything up. These charges have since been dropped.

Shortly after, it was announced that the iconic series would be canceled after the upcoming season six.

The show’s creator, Lee Daniels spoke about these events in an interview saying he was “beyond embarrassed” and in so many words blamed the show’s unexpected end on Smollett. You can read more on Daniel’s comments here.

Next up, we just reported that last week Bryshere Gray, another cast member, was arrested in Chicago. after a vehicle and registration issue.

None of these legal battles are related to one another, and we wish the best for everyone involved, however, it does have us wondering if there really is an “‘Empire’ Curse.”

TELL US; Do you think there is an ‘Empire’ curse?
