Dave Chappelle is back on-stage again this July and this time he’s going to Broadway.

The comedian will perform five shows at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, from July 9 through July 13. Performing on Broadway is a first for Chappelle and the theater has already named the show Dave Chappelle Live On Broadway. The actor only plans on doing 5 shows and curtains rise at 8 p.m.

The 2-time Grammy winner is no stranger to a stage. In 2017, he celebrated his 30th anniversary and invited Chris RockChance The Rapper, and more to join him on a 14 date tour at Radio City Music Hall.

The actor has been making moves recently! He released a couple of Netflix’s specials titled The Art of Spin, Deep in the Heart of Texas, Equanimity and The Bird Revelations and starred in A Star is Born alongside Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga. He is also set to receive the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor.

With Chappelle back on the road, audience members have to ditch their phones to respect the comedian’s request of no recording devices in the theatre but fans still interested can buy tickets next Friday on June 21st at 10 a.m on Ticketmaster.
