We’ve got our first proposal of the new year! Tracey Edmonds and her longtime boo Deion Sanders are engaged after dating for eight years! The 51-year-old mother of two announced the news on Valentine’s Day, giving a little advice to other couples. “…stay REAL with each other, LISTEN to each other, and MOST of all.. keep LOVE and GOD in your heart. Over on his page, Sanders spoke highly of his now fiance in a lengthy post, “When you’ve seen so much mess,lying,cheating, stealing,manipulation,plotting, sabotage,ignorance,anger,jealousy,bitterness and hatred you’re faced with options to let Go & let God or travel thru life enclosed in a CONDOM whereas u can feel pleasure but u can’t get infected with any of the previous BULL JUNK i mentioned earlier.”

It’s safe to say that “bull” he mentioned might have something to do with his ongoing legal battle with ex-wife Pilar Sanders. Back in 2017 the Hall of Famer lost a defamation suit against Pilar when a judged revered a $2.2 million judgment against her. Over the last few years, the former couple has been in and out court disputing domestic violence claims, child support and everything else you can think. Pilar even lost her rights to see their three children in 2014.

Kenny ‘Babyface’ Edmonds and Tracey’s relationship has been the complete opposite. The iconic singer has never been shy about his love and respect for their relationship, even appearing on Deion’s Family Playbook once. He told Oprah in 2014, “Deion’s a good guy…he did one thing for me that I thought was the classiest thing in the world…he called me and said he didn’t want to meet my children until he sat down and had lunch or breakfast with me, so he’d know me before he met my children.”
