We’ve got our first look at what Bobby Brown will look like as Rufus Thomas in American Soul, the series that follows the journey of Soul Train. and Don Cornelius. As previously reported Brown will star as the singer behind The Funky Chicken.

K. Michelle will join the cast as Martha Reeves, Michelle Williams as Diana Ross and Gabrielle Dennis will portray Tina Turner alongside McKinley Freeman, who will play Ike Turner.
