Things are reportedly getting a little tense over at The Real, once again. This time, instead of a host being let go, it’s the difference in salaries that’s causing all the drama. Allegedly, Adrienne Houghton and Jeannie Mai aren’t happy that Tamera Mowry-Housley and Loni Love are getting paid significantly more money to host the same show.

According to reports, the former Sister, Sister actress is receiving the highest salary, with Loni coming in second. Adrienne and Jeannie are only receiving a third of what the other two are making. That’s a pretty drastic difference!

Apparently, tensions started to rise in April after the women won an Emmy for their show. That’s when the former 3LW singer and former Style Network host began talking about staging a walk out because they weren’t being compensated the same as their co-hosts. According to The Daily Mail, they initially wanted Tamera and Loni to help them get better deals on the show, but when they declined, it sparked the current feud.

In January, it seemed like all was well. At the 49th NAACP Image Awards, the ladies spoke about being literal examples of multicultural love and using their platform to speak up about injustice and empowering women. Watch below:

Just last month, after the tragic shooting in Thousand Oaks, California, that killed her 18-year-old niece (by marriage), Mowry-Housley took time off and the show, reportedly, jumped 13% in ratings. That’s the highest growth the show has seen in more than a year. After seeing that spike, Mai and Houghton reportedly questioned how the mother of two was making more money than them if the show was doing significantly better in her absence. This is what prompted them to shoot their shots and ask for more money.

Clearly, money is making things ugly with the co-hosts who have seemed like the “perfect” girlfriends, despite their differences.

According to a source, “the ladies of The Real don’t speak behind the scenes until they hit the stage door to come out. They play girlfriends on TV, but in real life, their relationship is strained to say the least. Regardless, it’s clear that Jeannie and Adrienne are lobbying for bigger paydays and their co-hosts aren’t interested in helping them achieve that.”

Despite the rumors, it doesn’t seem like anything is out of the norm on their Instagram accounts, and the women have continued to show each other love, even outside of work. Look at these beautiful memories:
