After the wedding of the summer just five months ago, Duchess Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are expecting their first child together!

The pair announced the news via Twiter over the weekend.

Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019. pic.twitter.com/Ut9C0RagLk

The couple, who met in the summer of 2016, are reportedly overjoyed at the thought of becoming new parents. Prince Harry said in a 2012 interview, “I’ve longed for kids since I was very, very young,” he said at the time. “I’m waiting to find the right person, someone who is willing to take on the job.”
