Shadow And Act reports, “the film is set in the 1960s and early 1970s during the debate about public school integration in Durham, North Carolina. Their encounters were charged with hatred and suspicion. But eventually, in an amazing set of transformations, each came to see how the other had been exploited by the South’s rigid power structure, and they would form a friendship that flourished within an explosively bigoted environment at the time.”

Sounds interesting right? In addition to this film, Henson secured the rights to the Emmett Till story in which she portray Mamie Till. She’ll also star in What Women Want, the Will Packer-produced remake of the 2000 comedy alongside Aldis Hodge (Underground, Straight Outta Compton) and Tracy Morgan.
