Who knew Damon Dash loaned Lee Daniels $2M for Precious back in 2009? Probably not many, but the former Roc-A-Fella records head honcho revealed the news over the weekend after confronting the director after an unpaid debt, nearly 10 years ago. While at a Diana Ross show at The Hollywood Bowl, you can hear Daniels plead with Dash to call him so they can talk about it, but the Growing Up Hip Hop star wants no parts of a phone call. This isn’t the first time Dash has invested in projects Daniels was at the helm of and reportedly not been paid. Daniels net worth is a reported $20M after the success of Precious, Empire (which was renewed for a fifth season), Star and The Butler.
