It’s cheaper to keep her! If he didn’t know then, he for SURE knows now.

Grey’s Anatomy star and woke bae Jesse Williams got hit with a big bill this week. The court ordered him to pay a total of $101,324 a month to his soon-to-be ex-wife Aryn Drake-Lee due to his ‘extraordinarily high income.’

Is she sucking him dry or is this exactly what she’s owed?

Williams, who filed for divorce in April 2017, was already paying Drake-Lee $50,695 a month in spousal support. According to People and the court documents they obtained, he then asked the courts to lower the amount required of him for child support of his two kids, Maceo, 3, and Sadie, 4.

But that accountant stepped in and squashed that request; they found his income and assets totaled more than $521,000 a month (that’s $6.3M a year!). He’s paying only 19% of his total income to spousal and child support. When, on average, most states require between 20-40% of your income for just child support (depending on the number of kids in the relationship).

These Hollywood divorces get extra messy, mix big bank accounts, a few kids and high profile celebrity, you’ll get weeks of headlines and everyone and their mama has an opinion. But from the numbers, it looks like Williams made out okay with 80% of his money still intact. Say what you will, but they started dating before the fame when he was New York teacher. She was married to him for almost five years and had two kids.

Together, they came up. So together, they get paid…right?
