As Jacqueline in “Boomerang,” Robin Givens is the seductive diva who plays the same game as the player, Eddie Murphy’s Marcus. She plays it pretty sultry as a femme fatale in “A Rage in Harlem,” too. The seductive temptress is a role Givens seems to slip easily into since many saw her as one in her tumultuous marriage to Mike Tyson, in which she famously accused him of physical abuse in front of Barbara Walters. Definitely not a match made in heaven. Before all the drama, she played an innocent, yet driven high school student on the TV show “Head of the Class.”
