Fans of the 1998 hood classic I Got The Hook Up rejoice! Master P has announced a sequel to the original film, starring comedian AJ Johnson, Snoop Dogg and Ice Cube. Watch.
Now there is no word on if Cube, who was recently spotted filming Last Friday, or Snoop will revive their characters in the movie, but the New Orleans rap mogul’s oldest son, Romeo Miller, is jumping on board as executive producer.

If you remember the film followed friends Black (Master P) and Blue (Johnson) as they stumbled upon a truckload of cell phones. Instead of turning them in, they start selling them in the hood. Unbenknownst to them the phones don’t work which leads to everyone coming after the two guys, including the FBI.
The sequel is said to be released in 2019.
