Sylvia Wilson, a 21-year-old junior at Temple University, successfully landed a ‘date’ with Michael B. Jordan. And we’re both inspired and jealous at the same damn time.

Michael B. Jordan is currently filming Creed 2 on Temple University’s campus. Wilson heard about it and decided, that in 2018, she was going to shoot her shot. According to Buzzfeed, she DM’d him on Instagram asking if she could buy him a smoothie (awww….so cute!).
“It was hot, and I didn’t think it’d be appropriate to ask to buy him a drink, so I opted for a smoothie,” Sylvia explained to BuzzFeed.
And guess what? Jordan responded!
After some conversation, he invited her to set to take a picture and told her not worry about that smoothie.
I asked for a smoothie in exchange for a pic and he said I didn’t have to buy one and to come to his trailer ??♀️

Oh, and just in case you wanted to know, he smells like “Mahogany Teakwood from Bath & Body Works but better.” You’re welcome.
This should be an example to us all on how to conquer life all 2018. She saw an opportunity and she went for it. It didn’t matter he was a celebrated Academy Award-nominated actor. It didn’t matter he was so fine enough to make her heart stop at first sight. She seized her moment and the world (well, more like 100K+ people), supported her.
