According to her website“the disciplines will include literature, creative arts, African- American studies, science, education, business, communications, social sciences, computer science and engineering. All applicants must maintain a 3.5 GPA or above. All finalists and winners will be selected by the universities. Winners will be announced this summer.” Google also announced they were matching the singer’s previous $100K.

This is the second year Mrs. Carter has funded a scholarship, on the one year anniversary of Lemonade, she partnered with four colleges and universities across the country to launch the Formation Scholars program.

In related news, JAY-Z is also looking to send kids to college in conjunction with his Shawn Carter Foundation. The deadline is April 30.
