Last month Tiffany Haddish revealed to GQ a Hollywood a-lister allegedly bit Beyoncé in the face at an after-party.
“There was this actress there that’s just, like, doing the mostest. She bit Beyoncé in the face. So Beyoncé stormed away, went up to Jay-Z, and was like, ‘Jay! Come here! This b-tch—’ and snatched him. They went to the back of the room. I was like, ‘What just happened?’ And Beyoncé’s friend walked up and was like, ‘Can you believe this b-tch just bit Beyoncé?’ “And then Beyoncé and Jay-Z walked by me, and I tapped Beyoncé.” “Near the end of the party Beyoncé’s at the bar, so I said to Beyoncé, ‘Did she really bite you?’ She was like, ‘Yeah.’ I was like, ‘She gonna get her ass beat tonight.’ She was like, ‘Tiffany, no. Don’t do that. That b-tch is on drugs. She not even drunk. The bitch is on drugs. She not like that all the time. Just chill.’ ”
As expected the comedian’s comments sent social media in a frenzy, prompting fans to create the #WhoBitBeyoncé hashtag. At one point Sanaa Lathan was loosely confirmed as the biter, but she quickly shut that down.
Now Richard Lawson (the veteran actor is married to Bey’s mother Tina Lawson) is speaking out about the entire incident, blasting the Girls Trip star for spreading lies.
“Listen, drop it, that’s my suggestion. Drop it, it’s just a bunch of crap. I think Tiffany just took advantage of a moment [and] tried to move the needle for her own thing.”
He continued, “There’s nothing to it.”
Tiffany has been very vocal about her interactions with Bey over the last few months, revealing their first meeting on TV One’s UNCENSORED.
