The California native spent around 20 years in the Navy at Camp Pendleton before embarking on a side hustle that has allowed him to bring in huge sums of money (how does $2,000 sound for 15 minutes?) for television appearances or parties, all set up by his agent at Mirror Images Co.

But for Finch it’s not all about the money. He tells The Culture Trip, “I’ll take whatever comes. It’s not about the fame and the fortune. It’s about something I enjoy doing. It’s breathtaking to me. There are no words that can even describe what it feels like to be an entertainer.”
The real rapper has been in the headlines recently for his new album, Bible of Love. The 46-year-old MC talked to us after his performance at the 33rd Stellar Gospel Music Awards last month and had an incredible message for those who criticized his merger into the world of gospel.
