“I couldn’t be more excited to share with the students what I know and I look forward to them also teaching me. Teaching is an exchange of sharing and receiving for all involved,” said the legendary rapper in an NYU news release.

This is a continuation of the artist’s fight to display the importance of hip hop to the community. The musician recently became the Kennedy Center’s first hip hop artistic director. The council he serves on was founded by QuestloveCommon9th Wonder, and LL Cool J.

The producer is truly fighting to deepen the public understanding and knowledge of hip hop, and is just getting started!
