It’s no secret that everyone is hoping that Oprah will run for president after her inspirational golden globes speech, and apparently Donald Trump is aware of the swirling rumors too.
The OWN CEO moderated a “60 Minutes” panel with Michigan Partisan Voters to discuss the issues with the current presidency saying, “One year into Donald Trump’s presidency, Americans remain divided, often unwilling to listen to what the other side has to say. ”
In response, Trump ran to twitter to attack the media mogul calling her “very insecure.”
Feeling threatened, Trump? Although we would love for Oprah to put in her bid for president, she recently said in an interview with EW that a presidential run “doesn’t interest her.” However, she did admit that it is “worthy of thinking about.” We certainly hope she will consider it!
