In the spirit of all things spinoff and reboot, Sony Pictures has reportedly fast tracked a reboot of its billion-dollar franchise, Men In Black.
While the film likely won’t see the return of Will Smith or Tommy Lee Jones, Sony is looking to release the sci-fi flick May 2019 under the directorship of F. Gary Gray (Straight Outta Compton, The Fate of the Furious).

So how exactly can the film be a reboot after three installations? Similar to what Jurassic Park did in 2015 with Jurassic World, the hope is to further expand the franchise and of course capitalize (it has made more than $1.6 billion to date).
