Shemar Moore's Email To This Actress Led To Their First Date At The Grammys

Most first dates are quiet, fairly intimate settings that allow two people to talk and get to know each other. But if you’re Shemar Moore, that’s not the case. The SWAT actor revealed to Entertainment Tonight that the 60th Grammy Awards was the backdrop for he and Anabelle Acosta‘s very first date.

“This was an impromptu thing. I wrote an email…I was a poet. A few days went by…I said you wanna be spontaneous? You wanna do things that most people will not do? Let’s just go big and let’s just have some fun.”

So who is the lucky lady that got the 47-year-old’s attention? Anabelle Acosta is most known for her role in STARZ’ Ballers, ABC’s Quantico and now NBCs’ Chicago PD. The Cuban born actress is 30 years old, 17 years Moore’s junior.

While the two have both admitted they’re still in the early phases of dating, we’re just hoping this will help prove to the critics that Shemar is not gay so he no longer has to defend it on social media.
