Nigerian-American author Tomi Adeyemi wrote the African Fantasy Novel titled Children of Blood and Bone and landed a seven-figure book deal for it!

Children of Blood and Bone is the first installment of Adeyemi’s new fantasy trilogy. The book draws upon African history and mythology following Zélie Adeola, a rebel princess, on her journey to rise up against the crown prince and bring magic back to her home; all the while struggling to keep her own power under control.

Fox 2000 has nabbed the film rights already so needless to say, we can expect a movie in the near future.
