Pam Grier is ready to bring her life to the big screen. The 68-year-old actress is most known as the star as some of the biggest films in the 70s, including Jackie Brown, Foxy Brown and Coffy.

The biopic will reportedly focus on her life on and off-screen, “the story is heartbreaking, raw, honest, and beautiful, all rolled into one testimony,” she says.
And that includes her very public love life over the years, with Richard Pryor, Kareem Abdul-Jabaar and comedian Freddie Prinze. Grier has already cast Jay Pharoah as Pryor, speaking highly of the Saturday Night Live alum.

“I watched him and heard his voice and closed my eyes and said, ‘It’s Richard.”
There’s no word on who Grier will cast to portray herself, but if things go well with the Meagan Good led Foxy Brown series at Hulu, the 36-year-old actress could be a strong consideration for the role. Watch below (start at 8:35 mark).
