Terrence Howard, Wesley Snipes and Tip “T.I.” Harris will star in the upcoming heist drama Cut Throat City. Wu-Tang Clan’s Rza will direct the film, currently shooting in New Orleans.
The film focuses on four childhood friends who return to the Lower Ninth Ward after Hurricane Katrina and find nothing. Their jobs…gone. Their homes…gone. They turn to the streets for help and a local gangster hires them to pull off “a daring casino heist,” in the middle of New Orleans.
The film also features Demetrius Shipp Jr. (All Eyez on Me) and Shameik Moore (Netflix’s The Get Down) and will be produced by Elliott Michael Smith of Rumble Riot Pictures, Michael Mendelsohn of Patriot Pictures, William Clevinger, Kyle Tekiela, Sean Lydiard, Film Wealth, and RZA.
