But it was LL Cool J‘s snub who has some wondering how the hip hop icon didn’t make the final list of inductees. Just last week the 49-year-old solicited fans to vote on Twitter.

Regardless of the snub, LL has had a hell of a year, NCIS: LA is in its ninth season and just last month he graduated from Harvard. And earlier this month he became the first rapper to be honored by the Kennedy City Honors.

Other inductees include Bon Jovi and The Cars. The 33rd annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony takes place April 14, 2018 in Cleveland, Ohio.
