Matt Lauer is the latest celebrity accused of sexual misconduct by a colleague. The Today Show host was fired Monday night after NBC executives received complaint of an alleged assault.

Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb announced the news early Wednesday morning. Watch below.

Since the story broke, celebrities and journalists alike shared their thoughts on social media.

Lauer joined Today as the morning show’s news anchor in 1994 and then became co-anchor in 1997. The 59-year-old is the latest to be fired for sexual misconduct. Earlier this month CBS fired it’s long-time anchor Charlie Rose for the same accusations.
