There’s good news in the land of Tyrese (finally)!
Not that we ever believed this accusation, but the Department of Child and Family Services has closed its investigation into the singer after his ex-wife, Norma Gibson, claimed he beat their 10-year-old daughter, Shayla.

According to E!, “the allegations came forward amid Norma’s battle for a custody agreement and a permanent restraining order against Tyrese. In court documents, Norma claimed on Aug. 19, Tyrese “went into a rage, pushed our daughter to the ground, pinned her face down, put his knees on her back, grabbed her hands with one arm and beat her with the other.”
If you haven’t been following this particular Tyrese-capade, just a few months ago the 38-year-old, took to social media to slam his ex-wife, alluding to her not being over him yet. Since then he checked himself into a Los Angeles hospital and also began an online, one-sided feud with Fast & Furious co-star The Rock. He has since ended it and of course made us aware on Instagram.
But it looks as though all is almost well. He received a little financial help from his long-time friends Will and Jada Pinkett Smith to the tune of $5M. Check out the caption below.

We’re not sure if the Smith’s donation was because Tyrese is in financial trouble, (we doubt it though, he’s reportedly worth $23M) or if it was a subtle way to get him off social media (the Internet thinks the latter). Either way, we just want this to end — quietly.
