Weeks after reports surfaced that JAY-Z turned down the 2018 halftime show, sources reveal that Justin Timberlake is “finalizing” his deal at Super Bowl LII.

13 years after the infamous “nipplegate” where he exposed Janet Jackson‘s breast, Timberlake will reportedly return to the NFL championship stage. Relive the moment below (skip to the 5:30 mark).

The  2004 debacle, changed the rules of the annual broadcasted sporting event. The Federal Communications Commission cracked down on new policies and implemented a five-second broadcast delay during live performances.

What’s even more interesting is that although Timberlake looks to be in the clear, according to TMZ, Janet Jackson is still banned, even though she apologized.

Makes us wonder if Pink, Lady Gaga, or Madonna would’ve gotten the same treatment.
