Usher‘s alleged Herpes case doesn’t look to be going anywhere any time soon. And while others have a mouthful to say about the topic (*cough, cough* Angie Stone), his mother and former manager Jonnetta Patton is finally speaking out.
Last week Patton took to social media before Usher’s episode of Oprah‘s MasterClass and seemingly responded to the allegations surrounding her 38-year-old son.

Who knew Mama Patton even had an Instagram account? She continued in another post that was captioned, “A good name is better than riches.”
She followed up her cryptic post with, “fame comes with a big ticket. Can you withstand the cost?”
It’s no secret that Usher and his mom have had long-standing issues that centered around his relationship with ex-wife Tameka Foster. And while we don’t see much of the mother-son duo around publicly, we’re hoping that the two have patched up whatever issues that may still be lingering.
