Long gone are the days of people just letting racism fly by.

Transgender model Munroe Bergdorf was fired by L’Oreal for her comments about systemic racism in a now-deleted Facebook post. Shortly after learning of the news, she spoke to the BBC about her message that suggested all white people were racist.

Thoughts?

Shortly after, rival beauty brand Illamasqua announced Bergdorf would front its new campaign based around gender fluidity.

In an interview with The Guardian in August, the 30-year-old said, “I don’t regret what I said. I’m an activist. Being an activist means calling people out, not just saying what everyone else is saying and what everyone else wants to think. L’Oreal knew that when they hired me.”

And because of that you’ll always have a fan here Munroe.
