Def Comedy Jam celebrates its 25th Anniversary with a huge special, coming this fall on Netflix. And, it’s lit. It feels like everyone you EVER loved in comedy will be together. All on one stage.

Let us rundown the heavy hitters, which mixes a little bit of new school with the comedy legends: Bill Bellamy, Cedric The Entertainer, Dave Chappelle, Mike Epps, Adele Givens, Eddie Griffin, Tiffany Haddish, Kevin Hart, Steve Harvey, D.L. Hughley, Martin Lawrence, Tracy Morgan, Craig Robinson, J.B. Smoove, Sommore, Joe Torry, Sheryl Underwood and Katt Wiliams

Russell Simmons has blessed us, again.  Def Comedy Jam, created by Russell Simmons and hosted by Martin Lawrence (among many others), originally aired on HBO from 1992-1997 and returned in 2006-2008. We can still remember the first time these comedy greats first hit the Def Jam stage and left us crying while gasping for air. It made Martin Lawrence, Dave Chappelle, Chris Tucker and a host of others – household names, launching the careers of basically every Black comedian in 90s.

Remember this?
