If you thought Floyd Mayweather was going broke anytime soon, you’ve strayed far from the truth.
When the entertaining boxer is not training for multi-million dollar matches (we cannot WAIT for this Mayweather-McGregor fight on August 26), he’s working on other business endeavors which include a fitness and boxing gym franchise and a virtual app.
Sources are saying that Mayweather is planning to launch boxing and fitness gyms around the world, with a special lense on underserved communities. The first of many (sources are saying he is planning on 500 locations) is set to launch in Southern California in November:
“Our fitness experience will have programs for kids, parents and aspiring athletes — anyone who’s looking to put energy into something positive,” Mayweather says.
In addition the gym launch, Mayweather plans to offer special trainings and workouts via a virtual app which will be available after his match with McGregor. And of course, don’t forget to catch Mayweather in his cameo on When Love Kills: The Falicia Blakely Story on August 28 9/8c!
