Bruno Mars is putting all of that “24K magic” to good use.

Reports are saying that the Hawaiian-born R&B-meets-funk star mentioned during a concert in Auburn Hills, Michigan that he donated 1 million dollars to aid victims in the Flint water crisis.

Apparently, Mars was able to achieve this million dollar donation with the help of his fans by redirecting all revenue from this particular show to the Community Foundation of Greater Flint:

“I’m very thankful to the Michigan audience for joining me in supporting this cause,” Mars said in a statement. “Ongoing challenges remain years later for Flint residents, and it’s important that we don’t forget our brothers and sisters affected by this disaster. As people, especially as Americans, we need to stand together to make sure something like this never happens in any community ever again.”

God bless you Michigan!
