Raven-Symoné has lived all of her life in front of the camera and the 31-year-old is opening up to People about wishing she grew up in a body-positive era as today’s child stars (interview starts at .57 mark).

“I wish I was living now as a younger person. I probably wouldn’t have so many mental issues,” the former Disney star said.

This isn’t the first time she’s opened up about body image. In 2015 she revealed that she experienced “fat-shaming” as early as seven years old.

“I remember not being able to have the bagel or anything at — we would call it crafty, where it’s just a table of food, ready for you to eat whatever you want. And I remember people would be like, ‘You can’t eat that. You’re getting fat!’ I’m like, ‘I’m seven! I’m hungry!’”
