Michael Vick appeared on FS1’s “Speak For Yourself” where he made the argument that former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick needs to cut his afro in order to rebuild his image in the NFL.

Watch the video below.

Kaepernick being an unsigned player has a lot of people wondering if he was blackballed from the NFL due to his consistent protesting in the form of taking a knee during the national anthem.

Vick made it seem as if he was able to clean up his negative image stemmed from dog fighting with a simple haircut, but people following his career understand that it took a lot more work to bring him back into the league.

Colin Kaepernick alluded to Mike’s comments when he posted this on Twitter, which speaks for itself.

Funny man Marlon Wayans was asked about Vick’s comments and he definitely had a lot to say.

The now retired Vick wore cornrows when he played in the NFL, but later chopped off his hair amidst the infamous dog fighting allegations and conviction that led to 21 months in federal prison.

He has since responded to comments received from his interview on Twitter.

Kaepernick has made a huge impact on the world by sticking to his ideals instead of shutting up and making the NFL happy, which might’ve costed him his career.

We highly doubt that him cutting off his hair will result in a contract.
