The always humble Kendrick Lamar gave one of his super fans the gift of a lifetime.
Kendrick is signed to Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE) and Jennifer Phillips is a proud supporter, but after a 2007 car accident that caused a spinal cord injury, Jennifer became a quadriplegic.
Her disability didn’t prevent her from attending numerous Kendrick concerts and Jennifer caught up with K. Dot backstage during the Dallas stop of his DAMN. tour.
See the video of their interaction below.
A GoFundMe campaign was created in April to raise money for a new modified van for Jennifer, but Kendrick took care of that. In addition to a new van, Kendrick also gifted her with an autographed DAMN. jacket.
She opened up about the experience on Instagram.
We love seeing this pattern of Black celebrities giving back to their communities and fans.
Keep changing lives Kendrick!
