'True To The Game' Finally Makes Its Way To The Big Screen, Check Out The Trailer

They teased us before, but now it’s official. ‘True To The Game‘ releases in theaters this September and we can’t wait.

Ya’ll remember the best-selling novel ‘True To The Game’ – a neighborhood dealer turns millionaire, a round-the-way beauty falls deep into the game, love so strong you would die for it. Yes, it’s ALL.OF.THAT. and Terri Woods kept us glued to the pages for three entire books (the ‘True To The Game’ trilogy).

The film stars Columbus Short as the intoxicating “Quadir,” Andra Fuller, Vivica A. Fox, Nelsan Ellis, Jennifer Freeman and Draya Michele. Directed by Preston Whitmore II and executive produced by Manny Halley, we only hope the film lives up to all the waiting we, excuse me, fans have been doing since the book released 23 years go in 1994.
