Chadwick Boseman is already making us proud with his lead role in Black Panther, and now he is making us doubly proud with his portrayal of real-life hero, Thurgood Marshall.
The trailer just dropped for Marshall, a film focusing on a portion of the Howard University School of Law (✊?) alum’s life before he became the first African American Supreme Court Justice and played a major role in desegregating schools in America. According to sources, the film centers around young Marshall’s time serving as an attorney for the NAACP, traveling nationally to defend those accused of crimes because of their race.
Sources also mention that another Black Panther castmate will be involved: Sterling K. Brown, alongside Kate Hudson and Josh Gad.
The best thing about this film is that it is another opportunity to #REPRESENT before the release of Black Panther in 2018. With Marshall slated to release in October of this year, shall we agree now to wear our kente cloths and revolutionary attire for this one as well? We should all be in attendance.
TELL US: Will you be attending theatres to see this film?
