“We livin’ this til the day that we die”….Mobb Deep performed together for the last time on Saturday night.
Pour some out for Prodigy & the rest of the Hip-Hop heads mourning the loss of a great one. Prodigy, one half of the epic Hip-hop duo Mobb Deep, has died at 42.
Prodigy died in Vegas. Although causes are unknown, his health problems are no secret to the industry. He’s been battling sickle cell disease.
Prodigy & Havoc, both performed on Saturday night in Vegas for the “Art of Rap” tour, alongside Ghostface Killah, Onyx, KRS-One, Ice-T and more.
The legendary Mobb Deep came to be in the early 90s, when NYC ruled Hip-Hop. Queensbridge’s finest gave us many hits including “Shook Ones,” “Survival of the Fittest” and “Quiet Storm.”
