According to reports, the rap duo, to be known as “CJ and Jahad,” has been working on their debut project for a few months and are gearing for a 2017 release.

“At a young age I always knew I wanted to do music, it was inevitable,” he tells The Evening Standard. “My family have always had my back, whatever I’ve wanted to do they’ve supported. They were always giving me advice on what to do and how to go about things.”

In addition to music, Wallace has his eyes on the film world. For those who forgot, Wallace played the younger version of his late father in the biopic Notorious. His latest endeavor in film making involves a project focusing on autism, a condition his younger sibling deals with.

But seriously, can Biggie’s son “spit” just as good as his pops could? Skip to 15:20 on the clip below and you can determine for yourself (be nice, the clip is from 2014):

Either way, the 20 year old has legendary shoes to fill.

Do you think Christopher Jordan Wallace will be able to carry on his father’s legacy in music?
