This week Issa Rae gave us some really, really good news and yes, it’s about her hit sitcom that put all of Black America in their feelings.

Finally! We’re anxious to see if Issa picks herself up from that tragic season finale or if the “Lawrence Hive” will prevail after all. Either way, we’re just happy to see a sitcom that focuses on authentic Black friendships and relationships return to our living room screens. We can’t help but think about some of our favorite classic TV shows that never came back, especially in this moment where two worlds combined:
