Texas State Technical College was established to make a stronger state of Texas. TSTC provides occupation-based programs with emphasis on technical careers. The school’s curriculum offers courses in areas of Automotive Technology, Digital Media, Wind Energy Technology and other career fields. TSTC does not have any student groups designed specifically for African-American students, but the school does provide various activities for all students to enjoy. Each year the Student Activities department sponsors activities and trips including Open Jam Nights, Concerts, Talent Shows, Six Flags and skiing. For the guys and girls who love video games, TSTC host X-Box and PS2 Tournaments. Texas State Technical College meets the career demands of Texas by affording students an education that not only enriches their lives but also prepares them to be leaders in their desired fields.
