From its Kids on Campus program to the Institute for Learning in Retirement, Frederick Community College provides programs for students of all ages. FCC offers certificates and degrees in programs that prepare students to immediately enter the workforce or transfer to major universities to complete a Bachelor’s degree. The curriculum at Frederick includes courses in Television Production, Nursing, Emergency Management, Criminal Justices and much more. Each year, FCC hosts several cultural events from theater productions to free concerts and art shows. Frederick’s Black Student Union provides support for students of color. BSU assists students with any services that the college may not provide. Frederick Community College’s mission is to improve the quality of life of its region. FCC fulfills this mission by making education accessible and preparing students to meet the demands of today’s workforce.
